Concord turned on a great summer afternoon for the field of 50 golfers to take on the new layout after a two year absence.

Great to see a few new members and visitors, we hope to see you all on a regular basis. The club house and gardens are exceptional and the view to the course was very inviting.

Most of the greens have been reshaped and some complete holes have been changed, to give the average golfer a little respite from the past degree of difficulty.

Condition of the course was excellent as usual and the new greens were quick and undulating. The challenging layout tamed most players with only four players playing to their handicap or better.

Christmas cheer and a nice meal in the clubhouse followed play and capped off a memorable day.
