The return to twin creeks golf club on a sunny Sydney winters day was much anticipated, and 36 golfers assembled looking forward the second game after the COVID break. 

Unfortunately, we did not get to experience this course at its best due to the coring of the fairways and the water damage to many of the bunkers. 

Great to see a few new members in attendance, along with several visitors, the nine groups loaded up the golf carts and headed out to enjoy the day. 

The gold tees were set a little forward which no doubt helped the field score on average a little better than usual with 5 players scoring 36 points or better and 60% of the field scoring 30 points or more. 

Well done to Steve Lear and Richard Harris who both carded eagles, Steve with a 3/5 on the par 5 15th and Richard with a 3/4 on the 500 metre 9th hole. We had a quality visitor in attendance with Ken Burns shooting a par round of 42 points of a handicap of 6.

In other news Graeme Degnan, our secretary is in rehab after his double knee replacement and Tim Hooper is battling on in the middle of his therapy, both hope to be back at golf with us in the near future.
