Captain’s Report – The Lakes 2021
Our return to The Lakes golf club for 2021 was well supported by 56 golfers which is great to see.
Many new members are becoming regulars and as with the previous game, at New South Wales, quite a few visitors in attendance. The weather was threatening but held off long enough for all to complete the game. As always this exceptional course was presented in immaculate condition , and as the scores suggest , it is a real test of golf. The average score was 30 points and only 3 golfers played to their handicap or better. Another quality dinner was provided in the majestic club house which capped of another successful monthly outing.

Keep an eye out for the invite to our next game on Thursday the 15th of April. This game is to be held at Cyprus Lakes in the hunter Valley and is our annual match against Newcastle.
We currently hold the trophy and a good roll up for this event will help us retain it.
