A little overnight rain softened the course slightly as the 26 master builder golfers prepared for our return to Liverpool.

Reynold promised us a fine day and a quality golf course and he delivered on both counts. Course conditions could not be faulted with perfect fairways and slick greens. Only a slight southerly breeze was evident and our white tees were a little forward. All seemed set for some hot scoring but as is all too common the course tamed most golfers.

Of the 26 starters only one player beat his handicap and 9 players scoring above 30 points.

A sandwich to start and some tasty finger food after the game was well received by all.
