A strong contingent of 36 players were in attendance for our annual spring game at this great course.

The weather was clear but cool with a strong north easter coming in off the pacific ocean, with the presence of plenty of whales it was a great scene.

The course for the most part was in great condition, while we endured a few temporary greens as they are on the final stretch of upgrading the lay out which should be complete when we return next year.

The wind was the main talking point of the day, reaching up to 45kms per hour and taking the golf ball with it. This was a challenge for most of us with 26 points being the average. Only one player played to his handicap.

Golf was followed by another delicious dinner and our last catch up before the October Hornibrook in the Hunter Valley.

We did raise a glass to our recently departed member , Rod Wheatley, who was a great champion of this club and will be missed but not forgotten.
