A field of 36 players was reduced to 32 with a few late withdrawals for the builders annual game at Terrey Hills Golf Club.

Sydney turned on the summer weather with clear skies and a solid northerly breeze prevailing for the afternoon.

As always this course was in top condition and a credit to the staff and the starters were generous in playing us from the forward trees which somewhat reduced the degree of difficulty on most holes, with four players shooting 36 points or more and half the field scoring above 30 points.

Great to see a few new members joining us on a regular basis and of course the visitors are always welcome.

The catering staff provided an excellent finger food selection which was enjoyed with a drink in the domed sitting room overlooking the 18th green.

Not one complaint was heard from the group and the room had a great atmosphere round on one of Sydney’s finest courses.
